About New Way’s
OUR STORY
New Way’s began with a simple mission: to create a supportive space where people feel safe, welcomed, and able to grow spiritually.
From its early gatherings to the busy weekly evenings we hold today, the centre has always stayed true to its purpose, providing comfort, guidance, and a place where anyone can feel understood.
As New Way’s begins a new chapter at Thomson Park, our purpose remains exactly the same: creating a warm, welcoming and supportive space where people can come together through Spirit, development and healing.
OUR TIME AT MAINS CASTLE
For three wonderful years, Mains Castle was the Wednesday evening home of New Way’s Mediumship Development Centre.
It was where so many friendships were formed, people developed their mediumship, and countless memories were made through our weekly services, development circles, special events and charity evenings.
On Wednesday 12th August 2026, we held our final service at Mains Castle before closing the doors for the last time.
We will always be grateful to Dean Duncan and Lynn Duncan for their friendship and for allowing New Way’s to call Mains Castle home every Wednesday evening for the last three years.
Mains Castle will always be part of the New Way’s story, but now a new chapter begins at Thomson Park.
Same heart. Same team. New home.
WHAT WE DO
Weekly Mediumship Services
Each week, we welcome a different medium from across Scotland. These evenings offer comfort, reassurance, and heartfelt messages from loved ones in Spirit.
Community Break
A chance to relax with tea, coffee, biscuits, and friendly conversation. Many people say this is where friendships start and confidence grows.
Development Circle
Led by Medium Gary Findlay, the circle gives people the opportunity to learn, explore, and develop their own spiritual connection at their own pace. The atmosphere is always safe, gentle, and supportive.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is simple
To bring people together through Spirit
To offer comfort, support, and healing
To create a community where everyone feels welcome
To help individuals explore and understand their own spiritual path
To provide a space where people feel valued and uplifted
New Way’s isn’t just a centre it’s a community.
COMMUNITY & CHARITY WORK
New Way’s is proud of the charity work carried out with the support of everyone who attends the centre.
Since New Way’s began, we have supported a different charity each year, with our community coming together to raise significant funds through our special charity nights.
Here are the totals raised
Angus Cat Rescue — £1,795 - November 2023
Cash for Kids — £2,493 - November 2024
Help for Kids — £3,409 - November 2025
These charity evenings highlight the kindness, generosity, and community spirit that sit at the heart of New Way’s.
People come together not only for Spirit, but to make a genuine difference for local children, families, and animals in need.
WHY PEOPLE KEEP COMING BACK
